POKER TOURNAMENT RULES!!!!

Initial Table Setup and Late Players:

1.       Open seating tournament.

 

2.       Start Time:

a.       Buy-ins start @ 7pm, Dealing will start @ 7:15pm

i.        Initial buy-in is $15 for 20,000 in chips.  

ii.   Confirmation 24 hours before game time, 3,000 in bonus chips.

ii.      Player buy-in before 7:15, 3,000 in bonus chips.

b.       Dealer determination: Dealer with be determined by high card or first ace.

c.       Re-Buy / Add-on:

i.        There are optional re-buy or add-on. Anytime a player loses all of their chips, they can re-buy (immediately and before the next hand) with an optional of 2 add-on at any time. The cost of the re-buy is $10 and the player will receive 30,000 in chips. Add-ons are an additional $10 for 30,000 in chips (Total 90,000 in chips). Multiple re-buy and add-on can be exercised at any time during the game, up to 3 people remaining. At that point no further re-buys-or add-on will be given. You can surrender your chips to re-buy and add-on any-time before there are 3 people left.

 

3.       Blinds and Chips:

a.       Blinds start at 100/200 and increase at the end of each round. Blinds increase every 20 minutes

b.       When a chip denomination is removed from the table, chips will be rounded up to the next denomination if the chips being removed are at least 50% of the next denomination. If less than 50%, odd chips will be lost. For example,

i.        When removing $100 chips, 3-$100 chips = $500, 2-$100 chips = 0; When removing $500 chips, a single chip will receive $1000 chip; When removing $1000 chips, 3

$1000 chips = $5000, 2-$1000 chips = 0.

ii.      Chip-ups will be done at first break and others will be announced.  

iii. Holding on to lower chips after a chip up you will forfeit your chips and be removed from the game for the night.

 

4.       Betting:

a.   Using 1 chip of any amount without saying raise is a call     

b. A player must use a verbal statement for giving the amount of the raise. If the chips put in do not match the verbal statement, the verbal statement prevails. If a raise is announced, but made for less than the minimum raise, it must be increased to the minimum raise (2x last bet)

 

5.       Misc:

a.       To win any part of a pot, a player must show all of his cards face up on the table, whether they were used in the final hand played or not.

b.       Show one, show all. Players are entitled to receive equal access to information about the contents of another player’s hand. If cards are shown to another player, every player at the table has a right to see those cards. 

c.       All in's, a player may play one or both of his/her cards.  Any card not turned up when the rest of the cards are dealt those cards mucked. Once a card or hand is mucked it can not used. (If Dave has 2- 7 not suited. The flop is A-K-K. Dave tries to steel the pot and goes all in. Todd and Dan also go all in Todd flips his cards over has A-10, Dan only shows an A and leaves the other card face down. Dave says bad bluff, how can I get you guys to drop flips up his 2-7 cards. The turn is 2 the river is 2. All are stunted Dave has won. Dan in a snotty cocky voice sucker i got a full boat. and shoes the mucked last 2. We tell Dan he lost because the card is considered mucked)

d.       Nobody at the table, whether in the hand or not, is permitted to coach, speculate, or otherwise comment on a hand still in play.

e.       On chopped pots with a single odd chip, the odd chip goes to the player in earliest position.

 

6.       Dealing:

a.       Each player must deal.

b.       Each play must shuffle the deck they dealt.

c.       Players that are no longer playing have the option to be dealer, as well as shuffle the cards to speed up the game.

d.       When down to 2 players in heads-up play with two blinds, the small blind is on the button and the button is first to act.

  

8.       Breaks:

a.       There will be (1) 10 minute break after 700/1400 blind.  

b.       During rounds, any player may take a break, but must fold there cards prior to leaving the table. If any player isn’t back by their turn to act, there hand will be folded. All players not at the table in the blind position, there ante will be posted and/or forfeited into the pot.

Championship Match Chips

Every night you play you earn 1000 chips
Every player you out last on your first buy in you earn 200 chips. Add on do not counts as a second by in
Head Hunter is worth the amount of people at the table times 100 points (If the headhunter is missing when they return the cold be more than 1 herd hunter that night) 
Fifth place is awarded 250 chips
Forth place is awarded 500 chips
Third place is awarded 1000  chips
Second place is awarded 2000 chips
The winner is awarded 5000
no splitting. If splitting no points for first or second. Extra points got to the champion pot

Championship Match Rules

The season ends once a championship player reaches 20 games. After the season there will a Championship Match 
Anyone paying any one of the games can play the champion chip 
No buy ins for this match
The pot is seeded 10% from each night (and any forfeited points) 
All players must agree on food for the night and split the cost
